Welcome to the new website for Whitman Academy!  It is time for our school to take education to the next level, and our website is an important part of that goal.  

For the past seventeen years, Whitman Academy has thrived as a unique institution with a firm academic and spiritual foundation.  Our students come from seventeen different nations to a school staffed by exceptional, highly-qualified educators.  As our school has grown, so has the diversity of our student body.  This growth has brought forth new challenges including that of improving the breadth and depth of our curriculum and class offerings.  As a result, we are moving toward the next level of academic excellence.  

Our first step will be to gain accreditation from a world-class accrediting body, AdvancED, Inc., which has accredited over 23,000 schools in sixty-five countries.  The AdvancED accreditation process provides schools with a comprehensive framework for continuing improvement in student learning and school effectiveness.  As we continue in the process, you will be hearing more about our progress toward our goal of accreditation.
